BIOGRAPHY

Leonardo Maniscalchi is an artist in visual communications who began his carrer with the cooperation of advertising agencies, magazines and stylists.

He has become recognized as one of the top fashion photographers, in Europe, making services, advertising and covers for very prestigious magazines such as Amica, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Moda viva, Playboy and for Conde Nast's Group which include Lei, Per Lui, Vanity, Amica, Vogue Italia, Vogue pelle, Zoom, L'Espresso, Panoranama.

Stylists and major fashion houses have assigned him to advertising campaigns and publishing editorial services for Armani, Coveri, Dior, Fendi, Krizia,Ferrč, Moschino, Pierre Cardin, Trussardi, Versace and Yves Saint Laurent. Many articles of Leonardo Maniscalchi have been published in Illustrazione Italia, Photo, Progresso fotografico and Zoom. His critics compliment him to his creative use of light and the quality of his image.

Leonardo Maniscalchi' s research of image has led him to very elaborate advanced forms of photography such as Photo-College and use of Painting.

Many of his works have been displayed in prominent exhibitions, museum and private collections throughout the world.

Now he finalized his work to the field concerning the art, that's always more and more

suitable to him, specializing in its different aspects: about sculpture creating through the lights and the shade, making the material tridimensional, giving it life and body; about the picture he uses a studied and finalized technique, almost perfect to make the work real entity.

About the colour, the design, he invents and analyzes the object, creating a true art work, seeing it just as an added value.Maniscalchi is a reader of a new Renaissance, where creativity and energy create together armony, in the soul of men as richness of values and human culture.

Many are his manuscripts, poetries, books concerning the different techniques of photography. His last work is the interpretation of Michelangelo's Sistina Chapel, where bodies and figures belonging to the Renaissance and to the modern period, represents one only fusion as language of Universal Beauty
